Will the government require homosexuals to pay for their own health insurance?
January 21, 2010
The government is already requiring smokers and obese people to pay for their own health insurance.
Homosexuality is a risky behavior and that’s why I’m asking the question.
Is the government discriminating against obese and homosexuals by requiring them to pay for their own health insurance?

Since when did homosexuality become any more risky than heterosexuality?
It has been a long time since the “gay plague” days, if you are implying that gay sex = AIDS.

Yes, why do you mistakenly think someone else should pay for your health insurance?

The homosexual lifestyle is no more risky than the heterosexual lifestyle. If you think only gays get STD’s (or whatever else you are implying), you’re setting yourself up for a visit to the doctor. PRACTICE SAFE SEX, gay or straight.

Smokers and obese may pay a higher premium but they are not excluded from govt health insurance.
You can quit smoking and can lose weight but you can’t convert yourself from being a homosexual.
There are many heterosexuals that engage in risky sexual practices. To only select homosexual acts would be discriminatory.

They should. And everyone else included. I have to pay for mine.

I hope so.
I also hope that EVERY other person has to pay for their own, or at the very least, work for it.
I have to pay, and so should everyone else – regardless of their sexual orientation.
